No matter how much you clean and scrub the inside edges of the toilet, over time those dreaded yellow stains can appear, giving it a dirty and unhygienic appearance that may not necessarily be the case. This darkening of the area is caused by water dripping down from above, but there is a very simple technique that can remove these stains and whiten the area.
All you need is cleaning vinegar, toilet paper and a little patience, as you will need to wait a few hours for this process to work (for example, you can leave it to work overnight and remove the residue in the morning).
Before starting this cleaning trick, the first thing to do is to clean the toilet thoroughly with your preferred cleaning products, as this is the last step in the toilet cleaning routine.
Goodbye stains
Once the toilet is clean, spray the stains thoroughly with cleaning vinegar, then cover them with toilet paper (if they are on the inner edges, cover the area well with paper, tucking it into the folds of the toilet).
Spray more cleaning vinegar onto the toilet paper, making sure that the paper is well saturated, so that the stains will also be saturated with vinegar during the remaining hours.
Leave it to sit overnight, and in the morning, simply remove the paper and scrub the area again with your usual cleaning products, as the stains will have disappeared completely.
